The Regional Unit of Grevena on the occasion of World Environment Day (June 5), organizes a public event on "Forest management of Black Pine in the region of Grevena, which will be held the 1st Juneat 6.00 pm in the conference room "Peter Sioulis" at Headquarters of the Regional Unit of Grevena. 

The event includes a presentation of the "Management Plan for Black Pine in Grevena area" elaborated within the Life project  Pindos/ Grevena, which is headed by the Regional Unit of Grevena, and the "Visitor's Management Plan" for the National Park of Northern Pindos completed recently within the same project. The event will be introduced by the vice-Governor of the Region of West Macedonia, Mr. George Dastamanis. 

The Region of West Macedonia after the recent administrative reform, took the responsibility for the continuity of the implementation of the project Pindos / Grevena as successor of the repealed Prefecture of Grevena.
